County Council and remote session

In the view of the coronavirus epidemic spread, the concept of remote deliberation of the County Council as a decision-making body of the local government appeared on the network. The members of the County Council would need to participate in the meeting as in the teleconference, i.e. to connect with each other via the website telecomunications services (e.g. Skype), deliberate and vote.

SUMMARY:

In my opinion, such sessions cannot take place without earlier intervention of the legislator. This is hindered by a potential violation of the constitutional right of citizens to participate in council sessions and probably the provisions of more than one county's statute.
